Y.E.A.H. Network
Young Ex-Athletes of Houston (YEAH) is a nonprofit organization designed by former lettermen of the University of Houston in conjunction with Cougar Pride and the H-Association. The purpose of YEAH is to provide a strictly social environment for young former lettermen and letterwomen of the University of Houston located in the Houston area. These events are outside of University of Houston sponsored events (games, matches, fundraisers, meetings, etc.).
Network Benefits include:
1. Develop business contacts and opportunities with fellow cougar athletes who have shared similar experiences 2. Strengthen existing bonds 3. Establish new friendships
Young Ex-Athletes:
YEAH is targeted to young ex-athletes because although you may not be able to contribute to the University you can still stay "in the loop" and involved with the University and your peers. Before YEAH there wasn't a program dedicated especially for ex-athletes one to ten years out.
Dues:
There are no dues associated with being a member of the network.
Requirements:
Members must have participated in at least one full year of competitive athletics at the University of Houston
YEAH Socials:
YEAH hosts one happy hour per month at different locations in Houston. This is strictly a social event. There is no cover charge at these events. However, Participants are responsible for purchasing their own refreshments. Look for the next social date and time on the H-Association website home page.
